Background & Research
I am a Research Scientist at the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, where I lead the Digital Modeling and Simulation Platform Team at the Embodied AI Center. My research spans embodied navigation and perception, generalist robot policies, and large-scale simulators and benchmarks for embodied AI.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Media Computing and Intelligent Systems Laboratory at the Beijing Institute of Technology in 2024, advised by Prof. Wei Liang. During my Ph.D., I was a visiting student at ETH Zürich's Computer Vision Lab (2021–2023), supervised by Prof. Luc Van Gool and Prof. Wenguan Wang. I also collaborated with Prof. Lap-Fai (Craig) Yu at George Mason University and held research internships at Microsoft Research Asia (with Jiaolong Yang) and the Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence (with Prof. Jianbing Shen).
